As part of Omdia’s consumer devices team, Jusy is responsible for wireless and PC research, with a focus on smartphones, feature phones, laptops, and tablets. His research covers mobile device shipment, production, and technology trends, as well as companies’ strategies. Jusy also coordinates Omdia’s wider consumer electronics research in Asia.
Jusy joined IHS Markit (now Omdia) in 2004 and became a leading TV research analyst. His work has concentrated on demand forecasting and competitive, pricing, and technology trend analysis. He has also served as project manager for consultancy projects related to display technology, market and consumer trends, and feasibility study and cost analysis for manufacturers, government institutions, and investment companies. He frequently speaks at major industry events around the world, including display conferences like SID and IMID. Based in South Korea, Jusy speaks fluent Korean, English, and Japanese and has a broad network of key contacts in South Korea and Japan.
Principal Analyst, Smartphone
Gerrit Schneemann has amassed significant experience in the global mobile handset market, covering the space for over a decade. In his current role, he is a regular contributor to reports and databases, providing insightful perspective on the current forces and anticipated technologies of consequence at work in the smartphone space.
Gerrit examines the smartphone market from a consumer’s perspective while monitoring developments in the wireless carrier space, keeping track of the applications and services that impact smartphone usage and trends. For his expertise, Gerrit is regularly quoted in print and online publications. Prior to his coverage of the smartphone market, Gerrit specialized in the portable navigation device and location-based technologies and services space for the consumer market. Gerrit has an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a Master of Science degree in predictive analytics from Northwestern University.

As part of Omdia's consumer devices team, Zaker provides in-depth analysis on the mobile device market, covering the smartphone market. He is based in China and his research focuses on Chinese OEMs.
His main research areas include smartphone market competition, smartphone brand and market strategy, vendor monetization strategies, and smartphone users. Previously at IHS Markit (now Omdia), Zaker was a senior research analyst in the consumer devices team. Before that, he worked more than three years for TCL Group, focusing on global TV research. He holds a master's degree in management from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
