Tim Westcott
Senior Principal Analyst, Digital Content & Channels
Tim leads Omdia’s research on TV and video programming and channel distribution. The core datasets in the Digital Content and Channels Intelligence service track investments in programming by channels and online video platforms, availability of linear channels and on-demand services, and sports and movie rights. The service also tracks the offerings of on-demand providers in the US and six key international markets.
Tim joined Omdia’s predecessor company Screen Digest in 2004, where his areas of focus included TV production, animation, sports rights, and public broadcasting. He has also edited more than 100 editions of the monthly Media and Technology Digest (formerly Screen Digest). Before that, Tim worked at the European Audiovisual Observatory in Strasbourg, France, and in a variety of journalism roles, including the Financial Times Group, EMAP (now Ascential), and Television Business International. Tim holds a Master of Arts (Hons.) degree in English literature from Trinity College, Cambridge. He holds dual UK and French nationality and is based in London.

Constantinos Papavassilopoulos
Principal Analyst, TV & Online Video
Constantinos Papavassilopoulos researches the TV and online video markets of 21 countries, spanning APAC (India), the Middle East and North Africa, Turkey, and Europe (Greece, Cyprus, and Malta). He authors market monitors and reports, and updates datasets, while also contributing to analysis and commentaries on a variety of topics.
Constantinos is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and events throughout MENA and Europe. Considered as an expert on the markets he covers, Mr. Papavassilopoulos is often interviewed for market research, trade, press, and business publications as well as for major news and current affairs networks. He joined IHS Markit in 2012 and Omdia in 2019. Previously, he had worked as a media researcher and head of the new technologies department at the Hellenic Audiovisual Institute. Prior to this, he worked as an assistant manager for a small TV production company in Athens, Greece. He holds a geology degree from the University of Athens, Greece, and a master’s in communications studies from the University of Leeds, UK.

Kia Ling Teoh
Senior Analyst, Advertising
As part of Omdia's media and entertainment team, Kia Ling Teoh covers global advertising, channels, and programming research, with specific interests in traditional TV’s digital extensions and content strategies. Her research focuses on the development of the advertising and television programming markets including, but not limited to, key markets in Asia Pacific.
Kia Ling provides analysis and forecasts on subjects such as TV broadcasters’ advertising revenues, including those from linear TV and ad-supported online video, and programming spend. She is widely quoted in media publications and has authored topical reports covering advertising M&A and TV and online video markets in China, Indonesia, and India. She is based in Penang, Malaysia, and joined Omdia in April 2014. Prior to joining Omdia, Kia Ling was a lead analyst at the Governance, Risk, and Compliance division of Thomson Reuters. She holds a Master of Science in international business management from University of Kent, UK. She is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, and Malay.

Max Signorelli
Senior Analyst, Media & Entertainment
Max Signorelli is a senior analyst for the Media & Entertainment team at Omdia and is product lead for Omdia’s Consumer Research – Devices, Media & Usage Spotlight Service.
Max’s research builds on Omdia’s syndicated consumer survey to monitor and rationalise market traits and consumer profiles as well as track real, cross-platform usage of services and devices with time. Max specializes in global video markets with regional expertise in EMEA, covering markets both developed and emerging through in-depth strategy analysis and contextualising of local and international video players. Max joined the company and industry in 2017 after earning his Bachelor of Science in physics from Imperial College London, United Kingdom.
