As part of Omdia’s Internet of Things (IoT) research program, Sam covers multiple facets of the global IoT market. Currently, he has a specific focus on analyzing software and services that support the adoption of IoT solutions.

Prior to joining Informa (now Omdia), formerly IHS Markit, in 2012, Sam was the director of IoT research practice at ABI Research. He started his analyst career in 2001 at In-Stat, covering the semiconductor and networking equipment markets. After graduating from the University of California, San Diego, Sam spent three years working in Japan before returning to the US to earn an MBA (Hons.) from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
