MEF held the 2019 edition of its annual conference, MEF19, in Los Angeles, California, from 18 to 22 November 2019. There were over 10,00 attendees with more than half at the director and/or executive level. The event covered 35+ key topics, 15 solution proof of concept (PoC) demos, and had more than 100 speakers who focused on a range of topics spanning MEF 3.0 services including SD-WAN, carrier Ethernet, optical transport and IP, an update on MEF’s standardized LSO APIs, and certification program updates among others. MEF has successfully transformed itself into an SD-WAN service standardization body by setting the industry’s first global standard defining SD-WAN services and its service attributes.
