Anna leads research for the intruder alarms and remote monitoring services intelligence service. She advises companies on current growth opportunities in the market, as well as strategic industry shifts that will affect security and building technology portfolios.
Anna joined Omdia in 2016. Her areas of expertise include home and commercial security, transformative technologies including IoT, artificial intelligence (AI), and cellular protocols as they relate to building technologies, as well as homeland security. Over her career she has authored reports on security and building technologies such as AI in smart buildings, ANPR and detection sensors, access control as a service, door automation, and explosives, weapons, and contraband detection equipment. She also managed the smart buildings and lighting intelligence services. She holds a master's degree in intelligence and international security and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and security studies.
Bryan is an analyst for Omdia’s (formerly IHS Markit’s) physical security group and is responsible for the content of Omdia’s Access Control Intelligence Service. He joined IHS Markit in 2017 and has previously written reports covering the building automation equipment, HVAC equipment, physical identity and access management (PIAM) solutions, and smart buildings markets. Bryan is based in Denver, Colorado, US.
Research Analyst, Access Control and Fire
David is Omdia’s Analyst for the physical security team. His primary focus is to develop market research and analysis in the fire safety, perimeter security, and entrance control technology segments.
He joined Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2019 and has experience working as a financial analyst for a wealth management firm, as well as a procurement analyst for a construction company. David holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin, with certifications in business and risk management. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. David is based in Austin, Texas, US.
