This week, VMware announced its intent to acquire network analytics company Nyansa, with an expected transaction close in the February to April 2020 timeframe. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, but VMware does not expect it to have a material impact on its fiscal 2021 operating results. Nyansa has raised $27 million in funding and by our estimates has approximately $10 million in annual revenue. Most of Nyansa’s 40 employees will join VMware upon close of the acquisition.
