Once again, a new decade begins and we start with a new G! Remember that at the beginning of this century, we started with 2G GSM localized in Europe, which gradually made its way worldwide with massive adoption; 2007 was the best year of all time for GSM revenue. Then we jumped right into LTE in 2010, skipping the short-lived 3G, and ended the decade with ubiquitous 4G coverage. Let’s hope history does not repeat itself and that 5G is not transitory.
