Principal Analyst, Public Safety and Critical Communications
Paul Bremner is a Principal Analyst in the critical communications group at Omdia. He is the lead analyst for the Command and Control Rooms Intelligence Service.
Paul originally joined the video surveillance team in Omdia, formerly IHS Markit, in 2012, working closely with the security system integration community. He has written reports on a diverse range of topics, such as security end-user concerns across a range of different vertical markets, the security system integration market, and the emerging safe cities market. Paul moved into the public safety and critical communications team in 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Exeter in South West England, the UK. Paul has spoken at many conferences and company events in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Senior Principal Analyst, Public Safety and Critical Communications
Ken is a member of Omdia's security technology, safe cities, and critical communications team and covers the critical communications broadband markets bringing LTE/5G technology to emergency responders and mission-critical enterprise operations.
His research includes the network infrastructure, devices, applications, and services supporting the LTE/5G capabilities required during mission-critical operations. Key topics tracked by Ken include the ecosystem’s embrace of 3GPP Release 13 mission-critical push-to-talk, mission-critical Internet of Things, and the impact of 5G New Radio. Before joining Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2019, Ken operated an analysis firm focused on critical communications topics. He is a long-standing mobile infrastructure expert who has covered 2G/3G/4G/5G radio access network evolution since 2002. He holds a degree in public administration from the University of Maryland.
