Philip has been an analyst in the financial services sector since 2013, with a background in consumer behavioral trends and their impact on payments, retail, and digital commerce. His main research interests are in open banking, real-time payments, and digital transformation. Philip provides analysis on key developments driving technological change in the financial services industry and advises clients on how to adapt.
Prior to joining Omdia in 2020, Philip spent seven years at Euromonitor, a strategic FMCG market research firm. He holds a degree in business from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
As part of Omdia’s IT tools and insights team, Satyam works primarily on the banking software contracts analytics (BSCA) service. He is responsible for tracking banking software contracts across various banks and financial institutions globally and updating the BSCA database. Satyam also supports other ad hoc works.
Satyam has three years’ experience in market research and has authored several reports that identify and analyze banking software contracts and other related trends. Prior to joining Informa (now Omdia) in 2017, Satyam was a researcher with the IT Kable unit of GD Research Center, where he worked on IT service contracts across various industries globally. Satyam holds an engineering degree in electronics and instrumentation from the Institute of Technical Education and Research (SOA University), Bhubanes.
Anushree Agarwal is an Analyst and member of the IT Tools and Insights team. She works on the IT Service Contracts Analytics (ITSCA) service. She tracks IT services contracts globally and updates the ITSCA database. Anushree also supports the Banking Software Contracts Analytics (BSCA) service.
Anushree has more than 10 years of experience in market research and has authored several reports identifying and analyzing IT service contracts and other IT service trends. Prior to joining Omdia in 2013, Anushree was a senior analyst with the MarketLine unit of Cognizant, where she worked on company profiles and SWOT analysis projects, as well as news coverage and content in the retail, energy, and technology verticals. Anushree holds a postgraduate diploma in management from the All India Management Association (AIMA) and a bachelor's degree in commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
As senior research director for Enterprise IT, Daniel leads Omdia’s work servicing enterprises and enterprise vendors around ICT management and business platforms, with a personal focus on the financial services industry. This includes Omdia’s Insight and Target portfolios providing primary perspectives on enterprises’ ICT investment priorities and enterprise-specific views on ICT spending.
Daniel has over 20 years’ experience as financial services technology analyst with expertise in digital and core banking, risk and compliance, as well as tracking, and forecasts overall ICT spending and investment allocation across the financial services sector. He has worked with institutions across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America supporting multiple lines of business including retail banking, corporate banking, wealth management, and buy- and sell-sides of the financial markets.
Daniel has a Bachelor of Arts and master’s degree in economics from Cambridge University.
