Previously, Rishi was part of Omdia's Data and Enterprise Intelligence team, focusing on customer analytics software-as-a-service and he often brings in this data and analytics expertise to complement his consumer and media technology research. Rishi has worked on multiple consumer and enterprise surveys and is in charge of four forecasts at Omdia: smart TVs, media streamers, wearables, and media transformation ICT services. Since joining in 2016, Rishi has authored key pieces of research, including Using Connected Device Data for Analytics and Customer Engagement, 2019 Trends to Watch: Media and Broadcast Technology, The Augmented Customer and the Enterprise CX Opportunity, and Market Radar: AI-Assisted Chatbots for Customer Service. Rishi has been cited in news publications including the BBC and judged device competitions (e.g., Mobile World Congress) in his consumer technology coverage. Prior to joining Omdia, Rishi worked as a professional services analyst with Nielsen and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Political Economy.
Dario leads Omdia's fixed and mobile European telecoms team. As Omdia’s Practice Leader, he monitors key market developments of the European telco scene, tracking major competitive dynamics.
Dario advises global fixed and mobile operators in key areas of their business, including strategy-related technology migration, competitive issues, MVNO and retail strategies, differentiation, and digitization. He continually monitors the market developments and the competitive dynamics of the market.
Prior to joining Omdia (formerly Ovum), Dario has worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit and Yankee Group. Dario holds a degree in business and economics from Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, known as Catholic University of Milan, and a master’s degree in applied social and market research from University of Westminster, London.
He is a member of the advisory board of the MVNO World Congress and eSIM Connect, and he also chairs the MVNO Industry Awards’ judging process.
