Principal Analyst, Addressable Consumer Devices
David is Omdia’s principal analyst looking into addressable consumer devices in the visual entertainment team, providing media and telco clients with intel on the device ownership landscape and hardware uptake across the world. Previously he was responsible for Omdia’s forecasting into the mobile and telecoms market within the market data analytics & modelling team.
David joined Omdia (formerly Ovum) in 2018, and before joining Omdia, he was a market analyst, responsible for tracking, analyzing, and forecasting the worldwide TV, home video, and media streamer markets at Futuresource Consulting. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cardiff University.

Hamzah Bakhat
Data Engineer
Hamzah is a market forecaster at Omdia. As a member of the central data and forecasting team, he works on forecast models, TM1 products, demographic databases, and data tools.
Hamzah is responsible for building TM1 logic for calculations, developing and maintaining input, auditing reports, and producing industry-leading and bespoke forecasts. Prior to joining Omdia in August 2014, Hamzah was an A-level mathematics teacher at a college in London. Hamzah has a strong logical and statistical background and holds a degree in mathematics from City University of London.
