Guillermo Escofet
Principal Analyst, Digital Consumer Platforms
As part of Omdia’s digital consumer platforms team, Guillermo covers mobile app ecosystems, including the mobile augmented reality market and aspects of the mobile games market; bundling partnerships between over-the-top (OTT) players and communication service providers; and carrier billing across media and other verticals.
Guillermo focuses on monetization and partnership strategies, and he sizes and monitors consumer spend transacted via app stores, advertiser spend on in-app advertisements, media and other digital services revenue derived from wholesale or revenue-share bundling deals with communications service providers, and the wider market for carrier-billed OTT products and services. Guillermo has a long pedigree at Informa covering mobile media. Before joining the company in 2002, he worked as a business and current affairs journalist. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Guillermo holds a history and politics degree from the University of Warwick in the UK.

Pamela Clark-Dickson
Principal Analyst, Advanced Messaging and Communications
Pamela Clark-Dickson covers the global communications apps and services, tracking the telcos and messaging apps strategies, application-to-person communications service providers and vendors, and the rich communications services ecosystem. She produces analysis, reports, data trackers, and forecasts on these sectors. Pamela also covers players, strategies, and developments in adjacent markets, including social media, Communications-Platform-as-a-Service, and WebRTC.
Pamela’s experience in consultancy comprises multiple projects for operators, vendors, and telecoms suppliers. She is a regular speaker and chair at industry events, including the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain and Shanghai, China. Pamela has covered the telecoms sector for more than 20 years as an analyst and journalist; she joined Informa UK (the owner of Omdia) in 2002. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. A highlight of her career was helping break the news in April 2013 that chat app messages exceeded global SMS traffic volumes, underlining the emergence of the messaging app as a successful new mobile communications tool.

Dom Tait
Research Director, Games, Music, Consumer Platforms and AI
Dom Tait is Omdia’s Research Director for games, music and audio, and consumer platforms and AI research. Dom joined Omdia in 2014 and has worked across the spectrum of entertainment and media on high-profile consulting projects, with a specialization in games and—increasingly—how they converge with other media.
Dom’s background is in media, having played editorial roles for a range of publications before joining Omdia. For many years, he has worked on a major report that examines consumer and advertiser spending data in entertainment and media segments around the world. As such, he can advise clients on a range of digital media.

Adam Thomas
Senior Principal Analyst, TV, Video and Advertising
As part of the media and entertainment research practice, Adam is responsible for overseeing the World Television Information Service (WTVIS) spotlight product and its Media & Entertainment Viewpoint service.
Adam joined Omdia in 2000 after serving as a senior media analyst at Market Tracking International. His primary area of focus for the past 20 years has been the traditional TV sector. He has written analyses and produced data and forecasts for all sectors of the traditional TV business, including the pay TV platforms of cable, satellite, IPTV, and DTT. Adam holds a degree in communications from London Guildhall University.
