David Scott, Principal Analyst of consumer, TV, and online video research and analysis at Omdia, specializes in the media markets of the Asia Pacific region. Based in Australia, David’s responsibilities include tracking television and home entertainment trends and developments across Asia Pacific. He authors the Omdia’s Pay TV & Online Video Report for Asia Pacific.
David has developed statistical models for projecting the operational growth of television and online video operators in Asia Pacific, and he plays a key role in forecasting trends in the digital video markets of the region.
He is the project lead for the Australian Home Entertainment Distributors’ Association (AHEDA), Home Entertainment Association of New Zealand (HEANZ), and other trade organization projects.
Prior to joining Omdia (formerly IHS Markit), David was an industry analyst at Screen Digest and Cutler & Company in Melbourne, participating in a wide range of consulting assignments in Asia Pacific.
David holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons.) from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
Constantinos Papavassilopoulos researches the TV and online video markets of 21 countries, spanning APAC (India), the Middle East and North Africa, Turkey, and Europe (Greece, Cyprus, and Malta). He authors market monitors and reports, and updates datasets, while also contributing to analysis and commentaries on a variety of topics.
Constantinos is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and events throughout MENA and Europe. Considered as an expert on the markets he covers, Mr. Papavassilopoulos is often interviewed for market research, trade, press, and business publications as well as for major news and current affairs networks. He joined IHS Markit in 2012 and Omdia in 2019. Previously, he had worked as a media researcher and head of the new technologies department at the Hellenic Audiovisual Institute. Prior to this, he worked as an assistant manager for a small TV production company in Athens, Greece. Jun Wen Woo
As part of Omdia’s consumer team, Jun Wen Woo covers pay-TV and online video markets in the Asia Pacific region. Her main research interests are subscription pay TV and online video (SVoD). Jun Wen provides analysis of the key developments in the media landscape in Asia Pacific through extensive research and consultancy work as well as published commentaries and reports.
She joined Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2014. Prior to this role, she was involved in mobile content and services research, covering over-the-top messaging and communications apps and ways in which mobile content providers can best monetize mobile media. Jun Wen holds a master’s degree in applied statistics and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Malaya.
Rob covers the television market in Western Europe, tracking key developments in the pay-TV and free-TV industries from cable, satellite, terrestrial, and telco perspectives. His work also focuses on cross-platform TV viewing time in the US and Europe.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in history from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England.

As part of Omdia's media and entertainment team, Sarah covers online video for the Americas, with a specific interest in over-the-top and subscription streaming strategies, transactional home entertainment, and global physical video research. She specializes in tracking, modeling, and forecasting the ever-changing home entertainment and direct-to-consumer landscape.
Previously, Sarah worked as an associate at NBCUniversal as part of its digital distribution team. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business cinematic arts from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She is based in the company’s Austin, Texas, office.
Laura Corboeuf is a Research Analyst in the TV & Online team, covering local and international players of both pay TV and online video markets, in France and Central and Eastern Europe.
Laura joined IHS Markit Technology in January 2019, where supported the coverage of telecom operator strategies and pay TV markets in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Prior to joining the company, she worked as a cultural and cooperation attaché at the French embassy in Turkmenistan, and worked and studied in a range of CIS countries including Russia and Ukraine.
