This document outlines the coverage of the 2018 edition of the report entitled “Body Worn Cameras & Digital Evidence Management.” Previously covered in the 2017 edition of the mobile video surveillance report, this new standalone report focuses on the police and law enforcement market. For the first time, this research expands its scope and provides analysis on the underlying digital evidence management software behind the use of body-worn and in-car video systems. As demand for use of these technologies in law enforcement continues to grow, so do the requirements for the associated backend systems to process, catalog, and store the huge volumes of collected evidence. An increasing number of vendors are addressing the specialized needs of this market.
