Pamela has covered the telecoms sector for more than 20 years as an analyst and journalist; she joined Informa UK (the owner of Omdia) in 2002. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. A highlight of her career was helping break the news in April 2013 that chat app messages exceeded global SMS traffic volumes, underlining the emergence of the messaging app as a successful new mobile communications tool.
Paul Lambert
Principal Analyst, Service Provider Strategy
Paul Lambert works in the Europe team at Omdia, formerly Ovum, focusing on the telecoms industry. He specializes in operator strategies, new technologies, and mobile broadband best practices. Paul also specializes in the implications resulting from eSIM and the evolving capabilities of mobile broadband. His recent reports have examined eSIM, 5G, LoRA, and IoT.
With a keen interest in 4G, Paul continually evaluates the options open to operators moving to 4G voice and what this means in the context of OTT players’ focus on enhancing their core telephony features. He also edits the Omdia Global Telecoms Daily news publication.
