Senior Analyst, European Markets
As part of Omdia’s service provider markets team, Julia covers the German-speaking and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) markets. Her research areas include communications service provider (CSP) strategies for mobile, fixed, pay TV, and over-the-top (OTT) services.
Julia’s strong analytical background contributes to her skill in writing country and company profiles on key European markets and local service providers, updating forecasts, and collecting data. She also researches the strategic shift of CSPs toward a multi-brand strategy. Prior to joining Omdia (formerly Ovum) in 2019, she worked in quantitative market research roles for audio manufacturer Sennheiser and market research agency Kantar. Julia holds a Master of Science in marketing and business analysis from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and a Bachelor of Science in international business from Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Germany).
Senior Analyst Europe/Lead Analyst WIS Europe
Laxmareddy is a senior analyst in the Europe team at Omdia. His core focus is on tracking the growth of the mobile and fixed sectors across Western European markets.
He contributes country and company reports, case studies, M&A analysis, and opinion pieces covering key topics for major Western European countries. He also leads the Europe data team.
Before joining Omdia, formerly Ovum, in April 2014, Laxmareddy worked at Cross-Tab as an analyst, where he researched telecoms technologies, cloud, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and business. He has also worked on various consulting assignments.
He holds a master's degree in business administration (specializing in telecoms management) and has a bachelor of engineering degree in electronics and communications from JNTU University, Hyderabad.
Research Analyst, European Markets
Diana is Omdia’s Research Analyst for the European markets. She conducts research analysis for several selected European markets, including France, Greece, Bulgaria, Russia, and the rest of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Diana’s main research topics include mobile, pay TV, and fixed broadband operators’ strategies and performance, as well as regulatory and competitive issues and retail strategies.
Diana works on forecasts and data analysis for the World Cellular Information Service, World Broadband Information Service, and World TV Information Service. She also produces country and operator profile updates, maintaining a strong emphasis on market developments and operators’ strategies in the mobile, fixed, and pay-TV segments. In her role, Diana answers clients’ queries on her area of expertise and advises on several consulting projects.
Diana holds a master’s degree in comparative business economics from University College London.
Vikram works with the data and forecasting team at Omdia as a data analyst for the European region. His role includes market analysis, products and industry competition analysis, and data estimation and forecasting across the region. He contributes to products such as the World Cellular Information Service, World Broadband Information Service, World Telecoms Financial Benchmarks, and World Cellular Investors. Vikram has almost four years of experience in the research industry. Prior to joining Omdia, he worked as a regional analyst for the automobile domain focusing on telematics business opportunities across regions. Vikram has a master's degree in business administration specializing in computer/information technology management.
