He spent four years from 2012 to 2016 at legacy IHS Technology, where he mined data and performed market analysis on consumer electronics subjects, including tablets, notebooks, mobile phones, TVs, PCs, and monitors.

As part of Penang Research Operations, Yi Wei is proficient in data mining algorithms, data processing, automation, NLP, and scripting languages, including Python and UiPath, to increase data efficiency and reduce lead times for research projects.
Yi Wei joined Informa Tech in 2021 with two years of experience in data automation and worked as a Python developer. Yi Wei holds a bachelor’s degree in science (actuarial and financial mathematics) from the University of Malaya.
