Principal Analyst, Mobile infrastructure
Rémy leads the Mobile Infrastructure team and research at Omdia. As a Principal Analyst he produces quantitative and qualitative analysis with a primary focus on 5G and LTE radio access networks (RAN), including open RAN and vRAN.
Rémy has more than 10 years of experience in the telecoms industry. Before joining Omdia in October 2020, Rémy was a Senior Analyst at Analysys Mason in Singapore where he helped telecom vendors and operators understanding technology trends and developing business strategies. Before that, Rémy worked in market and competitive intelligence roles at Samsung Electronics in South Korea and Orange in France.
Rémy has a bachelor’s degree and a master's degree in management, both from Rouen Business School in France. He is based in South Korea.

Roberto Kompany
Principal Analyst, Service Provider Networks
Roberto is a Principal Analyst in the Service Provider Networks team primarily contributing to the Mobile Infrastructure research practice. His research includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the LTE and 5G RAN and mobile core. He is also a Cambridge Wireless Special Interest Group (SIG) Enhanced Mobile Broadband champion.
Roberto has more than 15 years of experience in the telecoms and ICT industries. Prior to joining Omdia, Roberto was an industry analyst at Analysys Mason where he led the mobile networks research, including 5G and open RAN; he helped telecom vendors and operators understand the technology trends and develop business strategies. His previous experience also includes analyzing telecom market shifts and effects, as well as helping clients worldwide with mobile-related projects. Roberto holds a Master of Science in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey and an MBA from IE Business School. He is based in London.

Angie Yang
Research Analyst
Angie Yang is a Research Analyst in Omdia's Service Provider Networks team, contributing to the Broadband Access Infrastructure and Mobile Infrastructure research practices. She provides in-depth quantitative data and qualitative analysis through primary and secondary research to support business decisions by target audiences from wireline/broadband and wireless networks ecosystems.
Angie’s current coverage at Omdia includes both fixed infra (PON, P2P/Active Ethernet, DSL, Gfast, fixed wireless access, and cable technologies) and mobile infra (LTE and 5G radio access networks and mobile core). Before joining Omdia in November 2021, she conducted internships in management consulting (EY-Parthenon) and internet (Bytedance) companies, where she was deeply engaged in several strategic planning, commercial due diligence, and global market research projects. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management science from Sun Yat-sen University and a Master of Science degree in health economics from LSE. She is based in London.
