Brian joined Informa Tech (now Omdia) in 2019 when it acquired IHS Markit. At IHS Markit, he researched on the small and medium displays market for six years. Brian’s previous work experience also includes working at Hydis in South Korea as a TFT LCD module process engineer, product planner, and strategic marketing manager for 11 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics from Dongguk University in South Korea.
Hiroshi Hayase
Research Manager, Small Medium Displays
Hiroshi Hayase is an expert in the small medium display market, including display products for smartphones, automobile monitors, and digital consumer products. He covers display technologies including active matrix (AM) LCD, passive matrix (PM) LCD, electronic paper displays, and AM & PM OLED displays.
With over 35 years of experience in the LCD industry, he brings an unparalleled focus to sales, marketing management, production, product engineering, and market research and analysis. Hiroshi joined Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in February 2004. Prior to that, Hiroshi was responsible for sales and market research at Wintek Japan Corporation, and he served as sales manager with Applied Komatsu Technology. At Seiko Epson, he gained 13 years of experience in sales management and production engineering across the full range of LCD production processes. Hiroshi holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Shizuoka University, Japan.
