Kelly Lum
Principal Analyst, ProAV
Kelly contributes to Omdia’s ProAV research for the Public Display Market Tracker for shipment and revenue data on LCD and OLED displays. She also supports research on LED video displays and consultancy projects for Omdia’s ProAV group.
Prior to joining Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in August 2013, Kelly worked at ALG, a TrueCar Company, as a consulting analyst in the automotive industry to forecast residual values, optimize proposed sales strategies, and make recommendations based on expected segment and industry trends. She graduated in 2008 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor of Arts in economics/mathematics and a minor in statistical science. She is based in San Jose, California.

Tay Kim
Principal Analyst, ProAV
As part of Omdia's components and devices team, Tay focuses on professional AV device research, specializing in the digital signage market. He is responsible for the market research, analysis, and forecast of digital signage (including LED video displays), desktop monitors, and specialty display devices.
His research covers a diverse range of vertical markets including education, corporate, transportation, hospitality, retail, sports, and other public spaces. Additionally, he regularly contributes to custom and consulting projects across the entire digital signage landscape.
Prior to joining Omdia, Tay developed market insights at Hewlett Packard. He also worked as a B2B specialist in the printing division at Samsung Electronics where he managed overseas customers. Before that, he was with a B2B division at Samsung Fine Chemicals for electronic materials including LCD.
Tay has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul.

Cindy Liu
Senior Research Analyst, ProAV
As part of Omdia's consumer electronics and devices team, Cindy covers the China Pro AV sector, with a specific interest in digital signage, specialty display, and monitor strategies research.
Her main research interests are in China’s vertical markets and application trends of the Pro AV industry. Cindy provides analysis of the key developments in IFPs, LCD video walls, LED video displays, and medical displays. She also writes on development insights on display technologies and supply chain of China’s markets. Prior to joining Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2017, Cindy worked as a senior product manager and senior project manager at Haier. She holds a degree in English language from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

Hidetoshi Himuro
Senior Principal Analyst, ProAV
As a senior principal analyst, Hidetoshi leads primary research and forecasting for global professional AV displays and desktop monitors and for the specialty displays market. He also writes for various publications and appears on media programs.
Prior to joining Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2014, he worked for DisplaySearch as director of IT & FPD market research, where he covered large-area LCD applications such as monitors, mobile PCs, public displays, and digital signage. He also forecast monthly large-area LCD panel pricing. With his background in engineering, he covered the LCD technology roadmap. He has also held positions at NEC in Japan and the US. At NEC, his responsibilities included strategic planning, project management, procurement, and hardware development for notebook PCs, LCD monitors, and their LCD panels. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Tokyo University of Science, Japan.

Matthew Rubin
Principal Analyst, ProAV
Matthew Rubin covers digital signage and corporate applications within the Omdia ProAV team, specializing in dvLED and LCD technology. His primary focus includes contributing to vertical analysis reporting and consulting.
Matthew has worked for IHS Markit, developing consumer TV research. He also worked for a technology consulting research firm, leading the consumer display and professional display equipment research (FPD, IFPD, LED, and projection).
