She also has a keen interest in the regulation of topics such as IoT, 5G, AI, over-the-top (OTT), privacy, and data protection. Prior to joining Informa (now Omdia), formerly Ovum, in 2015, Sarah was a senior researcher at Pearlfinders, analyzing and advising on trends in the IT, telecoms, and technology markets. She holds a degree in natural sciences from the University of Durham.
Gourab Banik
Analyst, Service Providers and Markets
As part of Omdia’s regulation team, Gourab Banik is an Analyst, providing insights into telecoms regulation and policies at a country level. He covers regulatory developments in areas such as spectrum awards, universal service, net neutrality, and consumer protection.
Prior to joining Omdia in 2021, Gourab worked at research and consulting firms including Frost & Sullivan and GlobalData, where he monitored and analyzed trends across telecom, media, and technology sectors. He holds a degree in telecom management from Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management in Pune, India.
