Serbia has been a growing market in the Central and Eastern European region in the past decade. Box office has been more than doubled from $7.7million in 2010 to $17.2m in 2019, an annual growth rate of 13.1% in the past ten years. In 2019, there were 131 cinema screens in Serbia. Cineplexx, Blitz Cinestar and Art Vista were the major cinema operators, representing a combined market share of 58.8% by screens.

Lebanon is another key market in Middle East after UAE, Israel, South Africa. Two to three million people visit cinemas in Lebanon each year, which generate around $25m to $35m box office. Lebanon has 154 cinema screens by end of 2019 across 26 locations. Grand Cinemas and Empire Cinemas were the key players in the market with six sites across the country.
