The French telecom regulator, L’Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques, des postes et de la distribution de la presse (ARCEP), continues to regularly review the markets susceptible to ex-ante regulation. In October 2024, the regulator confirmed the deregulation of the wholesale central access provided at a fixed location for mass-market products (market 3b/2014), citing that the market is trending towards effective competition.
