Ahmad Afiq

Research Associate

As part of Omdia’s research operations team, Afiq provides research support for various research products in Government and Manufacturing such as industrial automation equipment, machine vision, and discrete automation.

Prior to joining Omdia, Afiq worked as a research assistant at Universiti Sains Malaysia, involved in R&D in robotics and automation field. Previously, Afiq worked as a sales engineer at a manufacturing company in Penang, Malaysia.

Afiq holds a master’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering (industrial automation and control) and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
