His research focuses on machinery sectors including material handling, packaging tools, and food and beverage machinery, combining Omdia’s industrial expertise with macroeconomic and supply chain analysis to understand key trends affecting developments in the machinery market. He is also passionate about sustainability initiatives driving the future of the manufacturing industry.
Baldesh joined Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2018. Prior to that, he was an analyst at Contact Energy, one of New Zealand’s major energy companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and international business from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
