Chin Ying conducts research and analysis on linear motion technologies. Her work involves primary research with market key players, complemented by secondary analysis of market trends across industrial automation, smart logistics, and electronics manufacturing. She contributes to Omdia’s Linear Motion Intelligence Service. Chin Ying joined Omdia in November 2025. Prior to joining Omdia, she gained experience in the fintech industry, where she specialized in conducting market research and competitive analysis at the country level, providing strategic insights to guidemanagement-level decision-making. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Nottingham, which further refined her analytical and communication skills, enabling her to deliver impactful research and recommendations.
