Douard Le Roux

Lead Data Engineer

As part of the Forecasting & Data Analysis team, Douard Le Roux supports several data tools and processes, including the data entry systems for the mobile, fixed broadband, TV and online video databases as well as the online tools for World Information Series – Service Provider.

Douard is an IBM Planning Analytics (formerly TM1) solution architect with over the 16 years’ experience working with teams responsible for the development, operations and support of enterprise-wide planning and analytics environments. Douard’s main interests are in creating data tools and visualization for mobile, fixed, TV and online video time-series data and forecasts to provide insight in these areas. Prior to joining Omdia, formerly Ovum, in 2019, Douard worked as a planning analytics solution architect at BOC. He has a degree in economics and accountancy and a post graduate diploma in accountancy from the University of Cape Town.
