Emma Xu

Senior Analyst

Emma works as a senior analyst in the Shanghai office. With the PC market as her focus, she contributes to primary research, data tracking, forecasting, and generating market insights. She typically focuses on the China market, Chinese vendors’ global strategy, and device and software ecosystems development.

Prior to joining Canalys, now part of Omdia, Emma worked on market research and product analysis at a renewable energy company. She regularly presented to internal stakeholders and the supply chain senior management team.

Emma graduated with an MSc in business analysis and consulting from the University of Strathclyde. As part of her education, she studied probability and statistics, strategical analysis, and financial management.
