Senor Analyst

As part of the forecasting and data analysis team, George creates the tools and models that analysts use to examine their data and create market forecasts, working with analysts in every research pillar at Omdia. He also fulfils a data management role, implementing more efficient workflows and data processes.

George joined the company in 2012 after graduating with a master’s degree in physics from Lancaster University. He initially worked as a research analyst in the manufacturing technology group, authoring reports on several industrial automation products before moving to a more data-focused role. He implemented a standardized workflow for his former group—automating or streamlining large parts of the data process and reducing production timelines—before expanding his role to cover other research areas. He currently works on over 100 data products, supporting analysts across Omdia in implementing a single version of the truth.
