As part of Omdia’s Consumer Device team, Hayden is a Principal Analyst in the smartphone research team. He specializes in comprehensive trend analysis within the consumer device industry and brings extensive project experience in mobile phone manufacturing, upstream supply chains, downstream distribution channels, and retail sectors. He has provided advisory services to companies in the communications industry, enabling them to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.

Hayden joined Omdia in 2025, focusing on smartphone vendor globalization strategy and the Greater China market. Previously, Hayden served internationally renowned mobile phone manufacturers, well-known global consulting firms, prominent domestic communications agents, and local operators, backed by over a decade of hands-on experience in the consumer electronics and communications market. Hayden holds a master’s degree in management (finance) from Swansea University. Based in Beijing, he is fluent in Mandarin and English.
