At the time of writing (March 2020), we are approaching the first anniversary of 5G commercialization in South Korea. On April 3, 2019, South Korea became the world’s first country to launch 5G commercial services for consumers with its three big telcos – SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+ –simultaneously switching on their 5G networks.
