On March 1, 2022, the EC set out its 6G vision, which aims to create a regulatory framework that encourages the development of infrastructure and technology to support 6G. This vision is being supported by a number of R&I programs with public-private funding of €2bn allocated to it.

Before joining Omdia (formerly Ovum) in 2015, Sarah was a senior researcher at Pearlfinders who analyzed and advised on IT, telecom, and technology market trends. She holds a degree in natural sciences from Durham University (UK).
