Bar-type displays will be adopted because of limited space; they can be made via panel-cutting, developing new photomasks, or using native photomasks and adopting metal shielding for manufacturing. Recently, demand for second displays for TVs has increased, shifting partially to bar-type displays with a 48:9 aspect ratio.
