This is the annual update to the Data Center Racks Tracker, including updated forecasts and vendor shares. It uses 2023 as a base year and forecasts to 2028. The category previously known as 21-inch racks will be renamed as Open Rack Enclosures. The 19-inch racks will be renamed as EIA-310 Rack Enclosures. Upon receiving material information on the high adoption of ORV3 and OCP-inspired racks from the industry, Omdia has decided to revise the Open Rack Enclosures shipment units from 2021–28. Omdia has also revised its assessment of the EIA-310 rack enclosure shipments from 2023–28.
