After hitting the lowest yearly shipments in 2023, notebook OEM shipments should increase slightly by 2.2% year-on-year (YoY) in 2024. PC OEM production shipments have been dropping for two consecutive years since 2022 owing to worldwide demand adjustments in the post–COVID-pandemic period. In 2024, there was a relatively strong demand for entry-level notebook OEM production in 1H24. The affordable selling price made it more appealing to end customers, especially in weak economic conditions.
