Product/service overview

Telecom operators are big consumers of server infrastructure. According to Omdia’s Telco Network Cloud Market Forecast, over 950,000 servers were required to support network-related workloads in 2024. This accounted for 8% of the global server shipments. The vast majority of these servers are used to support core network functions (5G core and evolved packet core [EPC]). Future demand will be supported by the increasing virtualization of radio access network (RAN) functions.
