Owing to the declining demand for LTPS TFT LCDs for smartphones, Sharp aims to cater to the demand for LTPS TFT LCDs in automobile monitor displays instead. Sharp is launching a new project for amusement displays while also working to recover its LTPS TFT LCD production and maintain two lines of the Gen 6 fabrication from 2025 onward.
