Thailand’s telecom regulator, the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), is planning for the next phase of the country’s telecom market. In September 2024, the NBTC announced its intention to auction spectrum in the 2100MHz and 2300MHz bands during 1Q25, with the goal of supporting 5G-Advanced (5G-A) and 6G deployment.
