Mobile World Congress (MWC) took place between March 3-6, 2025 in Barcelona. The event was billed as the year of AI, but other key themes also included satellite communications, APIs, security, consolidation etc. 6G received surprisingly limited coverage but it is still expected that early adopters in Asia will look to launch in 2028/29.

She holds a degree in natural sciences from Durham University (UK).
