As part of Omdia’s service provider strategy and regulation team, Stephen supports service providers with insights into technology-driven strategic opportunities and developments in the regulatory landscape.

Stephen started out in the company as a consultant working with a broad range of leading Asia Pacific service providers and vendors to address technology, competitive, regulatory, and strategic challenges.

Prior to joining Omdia in 2016, Stephen worked in industry, where, for over six years, he played a senior role in the development of the Australian national broadband network (NBN), working in strategy, product, and regulatory teams. Stephen has also worked as an equity research analyst, providing investment advice on the sector for global investors.  

Sonali Nagpal

Analyst, Service Provider Networks

Sonali, an analyst based in India, is part of Omdia’s service provider team. She covers topics such as IoT, operator networks, innovative telco services, cloud gaming, consumer AI, operator digital strategies, and 5G/broadband pricing, among others. Sonali has around eight years of market research experience across industries such as ICT, education, and e-commerce. Before joining Informa, she worked with The Business Research Company and Redseer Consulting. Sonali has strong experience in market research and analysis, tracking key industry trends, project management, GTM, market sizing, and report writing. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kirori Mal College, Delhi, and a master’s degree in economics from Christ University, Bangalore.
