Production in India, Indonesia, Thailand and some smaller hubs will more than offset downturns in Japan and South Korea over the next five years in the Asia-Pacific (less China). Hampering production in Japan and South Korea, the first and third largest vehicle manufacturers in the region, are expected downturns in sales in their own markets, as well as slowing growth in export production. With some help, India will be the juggernaut that drives sales and production growth in the region.
