A stronger 5-year outlook for demand inside the region is supporting production by offsetting most of the declines caused by cuts in the sales forecast for other regions the AP countries (less China) export heavily to. The region is bucking the downward revisions to the long-term forecasts made to the rest of the world over the past six months.
