Production cuts for light vehicles and medium-/heavy-duty trucks in Q3, and negligible growth expected in Q4, put results for entire-2024 in danger of being flat with, or even falling below, 2023’s 16.18 million units. Production is tracking to finish 2024 at 16.19 million, but there remains a high risk of further cuts if North America sales – especially in the U.S. - don’t perk up in the next couple months.
