Besides China, slower growth in July appears rooted in emerging and developing economies, especially in the Asia-Pacific, with gains led mostly by mature markets with advanced economies. Strong gains were posted in Europe, North America and South America - including in some emerging markets, bucking the global trend - overshadowing slower growth in AP.
