Although there was a pullback in the pace of cancellations, delays and product changes to future manufacturing plans over the past seven months, whether any or all of the BEV startups in North America are successful – or if some even produce one vehicle – remains highly uncertain. Despite some steadiness to current plans, the production outlook for startup manufacturers was cut, and space to compete in the North America market looks even tighter.
