If current North America production trends hold, new-vehicle availability in the U.S. will increase, including the mix of more affordable models. Risks to the outlook are looming larger and rising in number, but first-half 2022 production remains on an upward trajectory, including strong sequential growth expected through June, as well as year-over-year gains resuming in April for the first time in 10 months.
