He tested the latest vehicles daily in those roles and travelled worldwide to cover automotive news events, global auto shows, and key vehicle evaluation programs. Before automotive journalism, he enjoyed a long career in newspaper reporting in suburban Detroit. Bob is a former auto mechanic and still enjoys working on vehicles in his spare time. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Michigan State University.
