How do I become a client?

How do I set up alerts?
Our new alerts feature allows you to select and receive content daily, weekly or monthly. You can save specific searches and set up alerts based on your content preferences.
For the best viewing experience, our website supports the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. The website can be viewed on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS systems and devices.

Password and login
On the sign in page, click ‘Forgot Password’ and enter your username or email address. You will receive an email to reset your password. If you do not receive a password reset email or you are still unable to log into your account, please contact our Customer Success team.
Resources and Navigation Support
How do I look up resources in an area of technology that I’m interested in?
There is a search function on the Homepage and throughout the website. You can refine your search criteria by content type, date, service area, geography and analyst. If you are unable to find the resource you need, connect with our team.
Where is Omdia’s Research Agenda located?
Product-specific research agendas can be found on the product pages. To download these, you will need to be a registered user and signed in.
Where can I access the newsletters?
From October we will no longer publish paid-for newsletters. Based on customer feedback, we have introduced alerts where you can select and receive the latest content in your area of interest. Customers with a current subscription to existing newsletters will be offered an alternative product in October.
Where can I find the products that are included in my subscription?
To view your products, sign in and click My Research on the top right of the homepage.
If you have any questions about the products in your subscription, please contact your account manager or our Customer Success team.

If I can’t find my product does it mean that it has been discontinued?
If any of the products you have subscribed to are discontinued, your account manager will be in touch to discuss the changes and the suitable alternative products you will now have access to. With the depth and breadth of Omdia’s offering, we are confident that there will be a product that meets your business needs. If you require further support, contact our Customer Success team.
How do I find out more about your consulting services?

How do I search for an analyst?
On Our Analysts page, you will find a directory of our analysts and their associated areas of expertise. Our Customer Success team can also help you schedule a call with our analysts. To book a briefing, contact our Customer Success team.
Where can I find various resources? (i.e. webinars, white papers)?
You can use the search function (accessible from the top right corner of any page), to look up our resources across different areas of interest. You may also filter the results by content type.
Do you offer translations services?
Currently all our products and resources are published in English. To see if we are able to offer a translation service for your language or assist in other ways, please contact our Customer Success team.
With the unification of your legacy businesses, will there be any changes to the data or taxonomies that you use?
With the creation of Omdia and our new product suite, we have unified and aligned the three data sets from our legacy businesses: Ovum, IHS Markit Technology and Tractica. As part of our commitment to connect the dots and deliver greater consistency across our enhanced product portfolio, we have created new common methodologies and taxonomies. As a result, some historical and forecast data may have changed. Specific data changes will be highlighted in individual data products and guides provided where necessary.
