Jason Low

Research Director

Research Director Jason spearheads the Connected Life research initiative at Omdia across emerging device categories. He delivers strategic insights that empower clients to build robust, integrated device ecosystems supported by AI and next-generation services. Jason assists technology companies, smart device vendors, and ecosystem partners in developing GTM strategies that capitalize on key user scenarios involving wearable technologies, connected homes, and intelligent vehicles.

Since joining Canalys (now part of Omdia) in 2014, Jason has led the Consumer IoT division, specializing in wearables, hearables, and smart speakers. His expertise enables clients to develop effective product strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities. He has guided clients through the complexities of automotive technologies as the leader of the Intelligent Vehicle Service, focusing on ADAS and digital cockpit innovations. Jason graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay, and Korean.
