Nitin is an analyst for Omdia’s service provider and markets team in India with a research focus on telecommunications and big-tech revenue/spending. Additionally, he covers cloud and over-the-top content providers, communications service providers, and carrier-neutral providers of data center and cell tower infrastructure. Nitin’s research blends financial and technology analysis, such as scrutinizing the effects of 5G or SDN/NFV on individual company spending. He is also responsible for five-year estimates of communications provider revenue and capital expenditures and monitoring the global M&A activity of media, technology, and telecom firms.
Before joining Omdia in 2024, Nitin worked in private equity research on the buy side, covering all sectors, including TMT, and prior to that, in technology roles in software development and product management for telecom products. He has worked with major investment banks and private equity funds in Europe and North America, preparing company and industry analysis, market forecasts, competitive benchmarking, business research, and financial analysis. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics & communications engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, and an MBA in international business, strategy & finance from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.
